Old Cinema Mels

The cultural association Old Cinema Mels has been one of the leading providers of cultural events in Sarganserland for 30 years. In addition, the house is a meeting place strongly anchored in the regional public - and one of the preferred stages for artists from the cabaret sector at home and abroad. "Leisure - cultural time": This is a motto of the Old Cinema Mels, which is valid in various areas. For visitors interested in culture are offered around 50 events per season (from September to May) from the fields of theatre (spoken, musical and narrative theatre as well as cabaret, comedy and clown programmes), music (including rock, world music) and children's theatre.
