Ella grows up in the Amazon rainforest with Hope, an adorable female baby jaguar that she has taken in. In the year she turned six, a family tragedy forced Ella and her father to return to New York. Eight years pass, and Ella, now a teenager, has never forgotten her Jaguar friend. When she learns that Hope's life is in danger, Ella decides to return to the jungle to save her.
