ORIGEN | CURS DA RUMANTSCH

The cultural area of the Alps is characterised by great traditions. A special gem is the Rhaeto-Romanic language, which has been preserved in some high valleys. The aim of Origen's Romance language courses is to impart basic linguistic knowledge, to promote the pleasurable play with language and to provide insight into Origen's cultural work. The courses are led by the local Romance scholar Ursina Guldemond-Netzer.

Basic courses in winter

The two basic courses Level 1 and 2 are intensive introductions to Surmiran. In the first we deal with simple sentences in the present; the second dares to take a leap into the past.

Romansh has transcended syntactic and phonetic boundaries and manifested itself in the lifeworlds of the sursetters. In the culture course, we get to the bottom of the cultural-historical and philosophical topics that have been shaped or even generated by Romansh.
