Panoramaweg-Valle Calanca

The walk starts from Braggio, a mountain village without motorized circulation, reachable only on foot, along the mule track that goes up from Arvigo, or by cable car. There are several old houses, well preserved, and a small shop. The meadows around the village and the pastures on the pastures are well maintained. The path climbs through the larch and fir forest, crossing several maggenghi. In Montdent, it leads to a carriage road that crosses the impressive Auriglia gorge. The descent to Selma begins on the maggengo of Cauco, which is part of Bersach. The parish church of Selma, dedicated to Saints James and Peter, is remarkable. From Selma, you return to Arvigo, by post or on foot, along the Calancasca.La walk along the Calanca Valley crosses a landscape strongly characterized by traditional agriculture. The Adula National Park project will help preserve the landscape of the Calanca Valley.

From Braggio follow the signs for Braggio Montdent. Once in Montdent, take the path towards Selma.
