Passo del Muretto
Once an important crossing point at 2560 m between the Swiss Bergell and the Italian Val Malenco.
Beschreibung
While the path on the Swiss side is rather narrow and quite steep and gravelly in places, the width of the mule track on the Italian side bears witness to the former importance of this pass. The path offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, especially the north face of Monte Disgrazia, which can be admired at length on the descent into Valmalenco.

From Maloja on foot over Lake Cavloc and either directly on to the Muretto Pass. Or with a detour to the Forno Hut.
