Comfortably with the mountain railways from Signal valley station up to Piz Nair, the local mountain of St. Moritz at 3059 meters above sea level. A short break in the Panorama Restaurant is worthwhile not only because of the fantastic panorama of the surrounding 3000-meter peaks and the Bernina group but also serves for acclimatization, because after that a single trail fireworks display of the highest class starts. After 800 meters warm-up along the piste track, turn right onto the trail to Furocla Schlattain and descend via Val Schlattain down to Corviglia. The trail offers smooth passages and repeatedly challenging sections for riding skills. And by the time you reach Corviglia, all muscles are perfectly warmed up to tackle the Olympia Trail down to Chantarella. This 4 km long trail, strictly designed according to mountain bike criteria, is unique and cannot be described but only ridden. From Chantarella comfortably back on the asphalt road to the Signal valley station.
HOME OF TRAILS
By the way, Danny MacAskill and Claudio Caluori start their road trip through Graubünden at Piz Nair. To see in the video "Home of Trails".
