On the initiative of the “Swiss Family”, over 500 fireplaces have been built in recent decades. The Plaun da Steilas fireplace is one of these.
Beschreibung
The Chischarolas fireplace is located 1420 m above sea level, 4.5 km north-west of Brigels, on the mountainside on alpine terrain. A possible hiking route that leads past the fireplace is from Brigels in the direction of Grep da Plaids or Alp da Schlans.
The fireplace can be used from around mid-May to the end of October. Please observe any instructions regarding the risk of forest fires, for example.
