Ponte Runchett da Sotsassa

It could one day become the reference point of Poschiavo, given how it dominates up there. The wooden construction is part of a path that leads to the typical terraced fields, the so-called "raunchett", where vegetables and fruit were grown for Engadine hotels until the Second World War.

The stone terraces above Poschiavo were previously difficult to access and had been neglected in recent decades: as a result, they were completely overgrown. Now they have been restored and the dry stone walls have been rebuilt.

A relatively steep descent takes you back to the Borgo, which you have just admired from a bird's eye view.
