Waterfalls have something majestic about them. Especially when you can even float over it with a small gondola.
Beschreibung
The Ragnatscherfall above Mels near Sargans comes from a small stream with a length of about 3.5km. The water flows over sandstone into the valley and the fall is already visible from the motorway. What is particularly impressive about this waterfall is that you can float spectacularly above it. The Palfriesbahn leads over long distances over the waterfalls of the Ragnatscher Bach.
Tip: Visit the waterfall in spring at the time of snowmelt or after intense rainfall.
