Mountain bivouac near the homonymous pizza, above the village of Rossa. It is located on the Calanca High Trail and is an ideal stopover for hikers.

RESERVATION IS REQUIRED
A small bivouac on the Calanca High Trail with gas stove, dishes, 7 beds, woolen blankets and mattresses, running water in front of the entrance, no heating.
The Ganan Hut is generally quieter than the Pian Grand Hut and is located in a very special, very dry and wild mountain landscape. In this bivouac here you have to squeeze in if you have to share the kitchen, the small dining room and the bedroom.
The hut guarantees a magnificent view to the valley floor of the Val Calanca and a summit panorama with sun until the end of the evening - an alpine experience that will be remembered.

Anfahrt
Access to the farmhouse from the village of San Bernardino about 8 1/2 hours (via Pian Grand, Trescolmen).
From Valbella approx. 4 1/2 hours (via Alp Largé, Bocchetta de Büschenel).
From Rossa, Lagh de Calvaresc, Piz Ganan approx. 5 1/2 hours.
From the Buffalora Refuge via the Alpine Path approx. 3.0 hours.
Touring possibilities in the area - Cima di Gagela 2805 m a.s.l., small ascent, 2–3 hours.
In bad weather, you should not descend directly into the valley to the Rote. This trail is hard to find and very dangerous. The best solution is to continue on the Piz Ganan Trail to Alp Calvarec Desora and descend to Rossa via Alp Calvarec Sot.
