Roman Route - Bivio Septimer Pass

In Bivio, the small mountain village between the Julier Pass and Lake Marmorera, the idyllic snowshoe route into Val Tgavretga begins. The route starts in Bivio just after the Hotel Post on the right side.

The trail runs along the old Roman road, through a rocky gorge and then onto the sunny plain of Sualas. After the hamlet of Allago, the path turns south. Toward the historic Septimer Pass, it runs at the foot of the local mountain Roccabella. At Cadval, keep slightly right. On the plain Plang Camfer, continue straight ahead to the Septimer Pass. Enjoy the mountain panorama into Val Surses and the Bergell. The same way leads back downhill over Tua to the starting point.

This route is for nature lovers who want to enjoy the peace and snow-covered winter landscape.
