Rothorn-Chur (oua_27209741_da46695_profile)
There are plenty of descents from Parpaner Rothorn to Chur. One of the legendary routes is the one to Arosa and then from Hörnli via the Urdental to Chur – a classic enduro route where trail fun is the main focus.

Beschreibung

From Lenzerheide, you take the gondola up to Parpaner Rothorn and then head down through the large rock basin towards the avalanche gallery. Here, you are on the "Bike Attack" course, which you leave at Gredigs Fürggli, turning right towards Arosa. This trail through the Schafälpli valley is a first-class flow trail right through a wonderfully unspoiled and rugged Alpine valley. Eventually, you reach Älplisee and later Innerarosa. Here is the valley station of the Hörnli cable car, with which you now ride up to the mountain station. What follows is a singletrail ride through the Urdental, partly on the alpine road, but then quickly back on small paths. From Tschiertschen, you reach the village of Praden on hiking trails above the road, then it goes through the Steinbachtobel to Passugg. The final section to Chur leads via the singletrail from Passugg to the valley floor of Chur. The city centre or the train station and the post bus stop for the return to Lenzerheide are not far from there.

By the way: Danny MacAskill and Claudio Caluori also enjoyed the trails in the "Home of Trails" video on the Parpaner Rothorn.
