Route of amazement Pfäfers

In the footsteps of the Romans, you will walk on the old trade route through the historic area of porta Romana. From Bad Ragaz train station, take the bus to the Fluppi stop or walk past the golf courses to Rosenbergli. This is where the ascent begins. You walk over the terraced terrain to the castle ruin Wartenstein and the chapel of St. George. After a last ascent, you will reach the former monastery of Pfäfers with its baroque monastery church and the large beech tree in the magnificent monastery garden. Past the dorflinde you reach the end of the village, where a hiking trail under the Tamina Bridge leads you through and over Falur to Bad Ragaz. There it is advisable to complete the power village tour in the warm, invigorating water of the Taminatherme.
