Route of Amazement Weisstannental

From Sargans or Mels railroad station, take the Postbus to Weisstannen Oberdorf. Walk along the Gufelbach stream to Batöni, to the impressive waterfall arena with its three mighty waterfalls.

Along the lively stream, the Kraftort trail leads slightly uphill into the forest across pastures to two large stones, which look like a mighty double stone as they stand close together.

Batöni waterfall arena: From left to right, you have the Piltschinabachfall, the Sässbachfall and the Muttenbachfall in front of you, which are 81, 86 and 45 meters long respectively. Just above the confluence of the three streams, the Lavtina stream flows into the Piltschina stream and a little further below, the Guetental stream flows into the Gufel stream. Find a good spot for a picnic or to watch and linger. It's good to be here, to drink from the stream, to absorb the strong, uplifting energy, to simply be enchanted by the place.
