Beschreibung

The Obersee is located in the village center of Arosa. Located right next to the terminus of the Chur-Arosa Railway, the height of the lake is given as 1734 meters above sea level. The Aroser Obersee is about 200m wide and 300m long and has a maximum depth of almost 30 meters. The Obersee promenade leads around the lake and is very popular and invites you to linger with all the possibilities for rest.

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

From Chur, the Rhaetian Railway runs every hour to Arosa.

Travelling on the Rhaetian Railway is to be made as easy as possible for guests with disabilities. Boarding and disembarking aids can be reserved up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. For more information, please visit www.rhb.ch.

Even when you arrive in Arosa, you remain mobile. The Arosa Bus likes to transport its passengers from A to B and strives to meet their needs. There are also options if you want to take a taxi: The Alpin Taxi (+41 81 377 35 35) has larger taxis where the wheelchair can be loaded into the trunk.

Anreise Information

From Chur follow the signs via Schanfiggerstrasse to Arosa. After entering the village, follow the main road to the train station.

Parken

At the entrance to the village there is a parking information board. The parking garage Ochsenbühl and the public parking lot at the Obersee are recommended.

Eating in the goods shed means a lot of fire & flames. Because in our highlight, the Josper, it goes hot to and fro. When prepared in this special charcoal grill oven, temperatures of up to 350 degrees are produced. This makes meat, fish and vegetables particularly juicy and gives them wonderful precious wood aromas. So our kitchen team, around chef Martin Völker, skilfully makes the goods shed dishes fire under the grate. The menu takes you on a culinary journey through the Alps – with small detours to the Orient. You will be catered for from morning to evening, with hot and cold dishes as well as daily brunch. And even with liquid happiness you will be supplied abundantly: cocktails with and without, exquisite wines, classics and soft drinks – hot, cold, shaken and stirred we have them all! At the bar with live music, in the cozy lounge or on the terrace. A rich selection of drinks completes the menu.

Hot meals throughout: Daily Brunch until 12.00 noon (on weekends until 2 pm) / Lunch from 11.00 am – 5.00 pm / Dinner from 6.00 pm. With us, not only the Josper burns daily, but also regularly the Goods Shed Stage. DJs and bands bring the mood to our boil. We love to entertain you and never miss an opportunity.
