The Engadin & St. Moritz destination has dedicated its current culture guide to the topic of architecture, and at the end of June 2022, Open Doors took place for the first time as an event focused on architecture in Upper Engadin. Part of the activities during the Open Doors weekend, in addition to numerous accessible buildings, were also architectural guided tours in the municipalities led by experts. Samedan Evenimaints responded to the great interest in Open Doors by designing the Samedan architecture route. The architecture route presents buildings of various types and from different stylistic periods, from the Middle Ages to the present day. The start and finish is at Samedan station. We wish you an enjoyable experience. Good to know: 2.6 km long - approx. 1.5 hours - pushchair accessible. Scan the QR code in the display case at the station and start your virtual tour. The smartphone must have an internet connection. The GPS function of the smartphone must be activated. A full battery or possibly a power bank is advantageous.
