San Bernardino

From the post office in San Bernardino, the path leads to a rope park and other sports facilities. You walk past them and reach the path around the lake. It is a forest road that runs very nicely around the Lago d’Isola reservoir of San Bernardino. Shortly before the dam, turn off and hike over the dam. Then follow a paved road along the lake back towards the village. After about 500 meters, cross a bridge over the main road. Follow this road until you reach the old cantonal road. Here, change sides and follow the signs towards Lagh de Pian Doss. After passing through the holiday home settlement, a beautiful moorland view opens up. A very inviting spot for a picnic by the lake. The hike then leads back a bit to a fountain. From there, you can follow the hiking trail to the left. It ends in a residential street of San Bernardino. The hiking signs now show two options. Either the path goes uphill along the street to the valley station of the ski lift, or you go downhill to the cantonal road and walk on the sidewalk back to the San Bernardino Post office.
