From the San Bernardino village you reach the area Acubona. In 2 hours you reach the Bocchetta de Curciusa. The way is advisable for able walker, specialy the part of the way that bring you to the bocchetta de Curciusa 2420m. From the Bocchetta de Curciusa you descend in direction of the alp Tampo where you have the deviation for Madesimo.
