Sculpture Path Wiesen

The Brüggatobel path up to the Obere Steig leads past breathtaking rock landscapes, beautiful forests, and a light blue mountain river that offers a perfect photo motif. The hike on the old Zügen route offers variety in every respect – for families, nature lovers, and leisure hikers.

From Glaris the path leads right along a road uphill, which later turns into a forest road. It gradually ascends slightly and becomes narrower. The middle section through the magnificent forest over Höheggen up to Steigwald offers a nice view of the surrounding mountains and down into the impressive Zügen Gorge. In the gorge, the path follows the old Zügen road along the Landwasser river to Wiesen Station. The five-minute detour to the Wiesner Viaduct, the second highest bridge in the Rhaetian Railway network, is worthwhile and offers another perspective on the Zügen Gorge. With the RhB you quickly return to Davos.
