Beschreibung
The hike starts in Scuol, where right from the beginning you can discover true treasures of Engadine houses and picturesque village squares. It is recommended to keep your ears particularly open on the way through the village because it bubbles – not only in the Inn River: high-quality mineral water splashes here inviting a tasting. Then continue over the large bridge to Gurlaina, from which you have a fantastic view of the village, towards Sent and on the other side, towards Vulpera. Now follow the path past the Gurlaina ice rink and through the forest to Vulpera. Here you get a glimpse of the remains of the burnt-down Hotel Waldhaus. Vulpera is crossed until you reach a junction that turns left towards Tarasp. From here you hike on a wider path past blooming meadows with a view of the nearby village Ftan. Shortly before the end of the route, you reach a hilltop and enjoy the direct view of the imposing Tarasp Castle. Finally, it goes past Lake Tarasp and to the village entrance of Tarasp Fontana.

- By PostAuto (from Martina, Sent, Ftan or Tarasp) hourly to the station Scuol-Tarasp
- By local bus from the station Scuol-Tarasp to the PostAuto stop Scuol, Belvédère
Anreise Information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass to the Lower Engadine on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen Pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
- Scuol lies directly on the Engadine road H27 (20 minutes drive from Vereina south portal)
