Secret Trail Madrisa

The route starts at Klosters village train station. From there it goes along a section of the cantonal road and shortly before leaving the village turns right into a mountain lane. Before the second hairpin bend, switch to the hiking trail, which takes you in steady ups and downs to Pagrüeg and further just before Saas. The subsequent mountain road leads with a constant incline over around ten kilometers and 1,000 meters of elevation to the Madrisa. Past the Madrisa station, it continues to Alp Untersäss and then to Zügenhüttli. From here begins the demanding single trail. It passes Donnerstein and continues through the Ronenwald, high above the Schlappintobel. At the hamlet of Flue begins the final descent, which leads to the Schlappinbach and ultimately back to Klosters village.

Stop at the Madrisa Alp or at the Madrisa-Hof and recharge before the demanding descent.
