Beschreibung
The next day starts at sunrise – because on the second stage, you should allow enough time for a break at the whirlpools above Alp Mora. The path leads into the wild Lawoitobel and from there over the steep Morgang (alpine trail) 500 meters up to Mutta Sura. Once at the top, the foot bath in the whirlpools is only a stone's throw away. The view into Domleschg and Surselva is breathtaking.
The path down from Alp Mora to Bargis remains exciting and requires surefootedness. On the historic Polenweg, you pass old stone shelters of the shepherds. The last stretch leads via Alp Lavadignas over alpine meadows before the mountain trail becomes a forest road after crossing a stream. On the Bargis plateau, you can cool your feet in the stream again before you can get comfortable in the Berggasthaus Bargis.
Geheimtipp
On the second stage, you might even be lucky enough to spot golden eagles. Don't forget your binoculars.
