Beschreibung

From Tenna Mitte, the start of the tour leads over a long hill just below the Underhütta. After a short traverse, the route follows the alpine road to the highest point on Bleichta. The panorama here stretches across the entire Safiental valley as far as Calanda. Reason enough for a long break at the stable.

The route now leads over a steeper ridge down to the “Boda” and later along the “Stegelzun” - a Walser pasture fence - to the church.

The church in Tenna is well worth a visit.

Sicherheitshinweis

This snowshoe tour is marked with pink posts in the terrain, but is not groomed. There are no steeper slopes that are at risk of avalanches. However, tours in unsecured terrain must be avoided if there is a high avalanche risk.

Anreise Information

From Bonaduz or Ilanz to Versam and continue in the direction of Safiental. Follow the signs to Tenna.

Parken

Parking spaces are available in the direction of Ausserberg, approx. 150 metres after the church (Werkhof).

With the Reformation around 1524, the church was converted into a sober sermon hall. The whitewashed frescoes from the late Middle Ages have been uncovered again today and are much admired.
