A short variant of the Tscheurig snowshoe trail with a view of the valley end with the Weisshorn. With luck, you can observe ibex on the opposite valley side!

Beschreibung
The trail branches off to the right from the valley road opposite the postbus stop. Steadily and gently rising, you walk up to the lower Tscheurig huts. From here, continue following the trail for about 300 meters, then turn left at the signpost. The trail leads straight ahead and slightly downhill until you reach the trail of the longer variant. From here, descend to Gassli or Turrahus/postbus stop.

The trail can also be ascended in the opposite direction.
Sicherheitshinweis
This snowshoe tour is marked in the terrain with pink posts but is not tracked. There are some steeper slopes. In case of high avalanche danger, tours in unsecured terrain must generally be avoided.

Ausrüstung
Well-functioning snowshoes, poles with winter baskets, good footwear, winter-appropriate clothing. The wind can significantly lower the perceived temperature in winter: do not forget winter gloves, a hat, thermos bottle, etc.
Carrying complete safety equipment, including avalanche transceiver (LVS), is necessary on this route.
Snowshoe equipment can be rented at Gasslihof.

Few parking spaces at the church in Thalkirch or at Turrahus. Due to the limited number of public parking spaces, we recommend arriving by public transport.
