Beschreibung

To reach the starting point, use the Waltensburg chairlift to the mountain restaurant Alp-Dado. Once at the starting point, take sledding path 2. Follow the signs right next to the Alp Dado mountain restaurant. Once on the sledding path, just follow it down to the valley station (mountain railway valley station).

Warning: The sledding path partly crosses the ski slope. Especially at the entry, you are at an intersection.

Geheimtipp

If you do not have a sled, you have the option to rent sleds at the valley stations of Waltensburg and Brigels.

Sicherheitshinweis

Observe the signage and stay on the marked paths. Be especially careful at intersections with the ski slopes. On the sled, you can be easily overlooked by skiers or snowboarders. Please also be considerate of pedestrians.

The speed while sledding is often underestimated. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended, especially for children.

Ausrüstung

Winter-proof footwear and warm clothing are strongly recommended. Gloves and headwear are also advisable. Please note that you are at up to 1,800 meters above sea level. Sunscreen for the skin and sunglasses are recommended. Wear a helmet if possible.

Anreise Information

Take the A13 to Reichenau, then the main road via Flims toward Disentis. After Rueun, exit Waltensburg/Vuorz. Drive through the entire village of Waltensburg/Vuorz toward Andiast.

Parken

In winter, parking lots in zone 1 are chargeable for day guests from 08:00 to 16:00 and in zone 2 from 00:00 to 24:00 for Maiensäss owners and guests. The first 30 minutes are free. Parking fees can be paid via the ParkingPay app, at central parking meters, and for zone 2 at the valley station cash desks. The ski buses in Brigels and Waltensburg remain free of charge.
