Beschreibung

The Sonnenloipe "Uf Prätsch" can be completed as an additional loop of the Prätschalp cross-country ski trail. It consists of two rounds, the lower and upper part. Both parts are highly recommended for enthusiasts. It pampers all the senses and offers a view of the entire Plessur mountain range up to Calanda, Ringelspitze, and the Sardona massif.

Wegbeschreibung

Head to the Prätschalp cross-country ski trail and follow the signs. At kilometer 6, you will find the trail description for the additional loop Sonnenloipe "Uf Prätsch". 

Anfahrt

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

The Rhaetian Railway runs hourly from Chur to Arosa (also in the opposite direction). At Arosa station, the local bus waits for you and takes you towards Maran/Prätschli to the Langlauf stop. To get to the Sonnenloipe, start with the Prätschalp cross-country ski trail.

Anreise Information

From Chur, take the winding Arosa road to the valley end at Arosa. At the village entrance, turn right at the gas station and follow Maranerstrasse. After a short drive, you will see the cross-country ski trails on the right. To get to the Sonnenloipe, start with the Prätschalp cross-country ski trail.


 Road conditions

Parken

At the village entrance, there is a large signposting with different parking options. Since only limited parking is available at the trail start, we recommend the Ochsenbühl parking garage. The parking garage is located right next to a bus stop from where the local bus takes you towards Maran/Prätschli to the trail start.
