On the section from Maschgenkamm to Zigerfurgglen, you will see numerous information panels about the UNESCO World Heritage Tektonikarena Sardona.
A short detour to the Madseeli is recommended.

Day hiking backpack (approx. 20 liters) with rain cover, sturdy and comfortable footwear, weather-appropriate and durable clothing in multiple layers, if necessary telescopic poles, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water, first aid kit, pocket knife, mobile phone, if necessary headlamp, map material
Wegbeschreibung
From Maschgenkamm you hike along the Ziger circular route to Zigerfurgglen. From Zigerfurgglen it continues to Calans. Below the two mountain peaks Magerrain and Wissmeilen, the route continues towards the Spitzmeilenhütte. The Spitzmeilen area is spacious, idyllic, and beautiful.
Take a break in the cozy SAC hut before you start the way back under your feet.

Anreise Information
Take the Flums/Flumserberg motorway exit and follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenboden.
Parken
Public parking is available at Tannenboden.
The parking lots are chargeable from 07:00 to 17:00. From 17:00 to 02:00 you can leave your car free of charge.
From 02:00 to 07:00 there is a night parking ban. There are enough night parking spaces in the Tannenboden car park or at Tannenheim.
The night parking lot can be used for a fee, but camping is not allowed.
