With few exceptions, the routes are steep to vertical and favour technically strong climbers. Emanuele Gerli and Guia Casati established the routes around 1999. In 2009, J. Zanker and J. Roffler added a route (J.v.v.C., 7c) to the area about 100 m to the right of these routes on the edge of the big roof.

How to get there - Bregaglia Engadin Turismo
Coming from Sils, about 700 m after Plaun da Lej, there is a small parking lot on the left side of the road. Park here. Shortly before the car park, a narrow path leads up to Alp Spluga. The mighty rock ledge is over a kilometre long. Immediately to the left of the large overhang is the climbing garden. It takes 15 minutes to get from the parking lot to the rocks. On a comfortable hiking trail from Spluga, the Plaun da Lej climbing garden can also be reached in 10 minutes.
