The winter route from Stafel to Obermutten offers a magnificent view of the Albula Valley, the peaks of Lenzerheide, and Obervaz. The snow wraps the already low wooden houses and sheds at Stafel like cotton wool and enchants the entire landscape.

Beschreibung

A second, short winter route leads from Obermutten to the small wooden church and further along the ridge to the fork at the water reservoir (1900 m). The view into the Schams and Albula Valley is overwhelming.

Anreise Information

Take exit 22-Thusis-South on the A13 towards Thusis-South/St. Moritz/Tiefencastel/Davos/Sils i.D. Turn left towards Albula until the Solas/Solis junction. From the junction at Schynstrasse near the Soliser bridge, you can reach Mutten comfortably and safely on the newly constructed access road. From Mutten, via Stafel to Obermutten, the path continues on the old, romantic natural road.
