Stage 3: Upper Engadine hut tour

To do this, you first roll down into the main valley of the Upper Engadine in the morning, pass the village of S-chanf and then climb up the lonely Val Susauna on a gravel road. At Alp Funtauna, the ascent turns into a single trail, which can be ridden uphill without any problems. Finally, in this way you reach the junction to the Sertig Pass.

Less technically experienced or very hungry mountain bikers now ascend to the Keschhütte and from there take the wide and fast path down to Chants. The others branch off to the right and climb up to the Sella da Ravais-ch with its impressive, multi-level lake landscape. The path is challenging in the upper segment, but then becomes more fluid with increasing distance until it turns into a gravel road just above Chants. In Chants, the final part of the three-day hut tour is finally on the agenda. In the absence of single trail alternatives, you follow the road through the wild and romantic Val Tuors and reach the centre of Bergün.
