Natural Monument Heidiland
Sternstein

Beschreibung
Stepping out of the forest, you will notice the large, grooved stone block in the meadow on the right, the so-called Sternstein. He silently bears witness to sunken times. We do not know for sure what it was used for. Its grooves seem to be related to the surroundings. A machined circle, raised in the middle, with 4 evenly made grooves, stands out. Where the convex grooves merge into the concave one, a line appears to run downwards over the tip. Step behind the stone and watch the mountains opposite. How does the stone fit into this picture?
There are several theories regarding past use. Celts and Pre-Celts may have used it to determine the times of day and seasons, for cultic purposes, as GPS, etc. It is difficult to clearly assign its type of use. From an energetic point of view, it gives us indications of a possible cultic use with its strong radiation and the high build-up and degrading values.
