Beschreibung
The winter hiking trail starts directly behind the schoolhouse in Strada. Watch out on the section between Strada and Chaflur, as sledders may come towards you. After Chaflur, there is another ascent up to the small hamlet of Chasura. From here, the massive Piz Lad accompanies you on the opposite side of the valley as you go up and down steadily towards Martina. After a bend, Piz Lad disappears from view and the dominant Tiroler Schmalzkopf now looms ahead. Soon you will see the first houses of Martina down in the valley. After crossing the stream, you reach the first junction towards Martina. If you take this, you pass the pretty reformed church above the village of Martina and continue a little through Martina to the PostAuto stop. Otherwise, at the junction you can continue straight along the field path and descend above the customs house to the village and almost directly to the PostAuto stop.

The path is prepared after every snowfall. Please observe the condition reports in the winter sports bulletin. The route was rated under favorable weather conditions; current snow and weather conditions must be checked before starting.

- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadin on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen Pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
