Above Pontresina, on the way to the lower Schafberg, lies the sunny Crast'Ota plateau. In earlier times, when patients with lung diseases were sent to Pontresina for treatment in the bracing climate, the sun terrace offered the ideal place to relax and recharge. Even today, guests and locals enjoy sunny winter days on the sheltered Crast'Ota sun terrace with panoramic views of the Roseg Valley and the surrounding mountain peaks. And best of all: deck chairs and fleece blankets are provided free of charge by the municipality of Pontresina.
