After lunch, enjoy the sun and get some exercise?
So let's head to the winter hiking route, which leads from the main road in Rueras first to the train stop and then further to the alpine huts of Pardatsch. After the railway line, we walk on a wide prepared path with snow under our shoes in gentle switchbacks uphill. A red bench seems to have been waiting for us to have a chat with a view. The return route is on the same path.

The neighborhood path to the train stop is mostly free of snow. A small section is quite steep but secured with a handrail.
Wegbeschreibung
From the parking lot in Rueras, we follow a short stretch of the cantonal road, which we leave to the left at the height of the church. We meet the winter hiking route that leads above the village to the train stop. Before the stop, we go under the railway line and follow the wide path down into the valley.

By train from Lucerne via the Oberalp Pass or from Zurich via Chur and Disentis to the Rueras stop.

By car from Chur via Disentis to Rueras (The Oberalp Pass is closed in winter)
