The highlight is the spectacular rocky path through the upper Val d’Uina, a former smuggler route recommended for those without fear of heights. At the top of the pass, already on Italian soil, lies the spacious Sesvennahütte.
On the second day of hiking, the ascent to the Fuorcla Sesvenna passes two lovely mountain lakes. After the pass, the geological formations with their different rock colors are fascinating. In summer months, there is a possibility to stop at the Alp Sesvenna above S-charl.

- Hourly service by the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau, or from the Upper Engadin) to Scuol-Tarasp
- Hourly service by PostAuto (from Martina, Sent, Ftan, or Tarasp and Scuol) to the PostAuto stop Sent, Sur En
Anreise Information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or over the Flüela pass into the Lower Engadin on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschen pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
- On the Engadine road (H27) to Crusch (between Ramosch and Scuol), then downhill to Sur En to the covered Inn bridge and the campsite
