The structure of the splendid patrician house represents an architectural jewel of the 19th century. It displays important works of Romanticism, including Spitzweg, Koller, Lenbach, Calame, Segantini and others.
The temporary exhibition "Swiss Realists, Idealists, Symbolists" brings together some 20 masterpieces from the collection of Winterthur art collector Bruno Stefanini (1924-2018).
