The fantastic panorama at the Biferten Hut compensates for all the effort.
You’ll have a view of Brigels and the mountain ridges of Obersaxen. Later, you’ll enjoy a deep view at Rubi Sura into the Val Frisal, and finally, you’ll be amazed by the spectacular location of the Biferten Hut, where you may be lucky enough to spot ibexes.
For the ascent, you can take the four-person chairlift from Brigels to Crest Falla and then continue via Alp Quader to the Biferten Hut, or hike on foot along the alpine path towards Alp Quader. For this, you’ll start your hike in the older part of Brigels (Cuort).

From Chur/Ilanz or Disentis to the Tavanasa-Breil/Brigels train stop. Continue by post bus to Breil-vitg, posta. Further information on the timetable can be found on the SBB website
Anreise Information
From Ilanz or Disentis, take the main road 19 to Tavanasa-Breil/Brigels. Then take the Via Principala and Casut to the cable car park.
