Theatre production R/D VENT DAL SOUTH – SOUTH WIND

The master of the house, Rudolf von Salis, is away on business. Since the untimely death of his wife, Margaretha von Salis-Soglio, the housekeeper Neisa has been running the now quiet household. Rudolf’s son Vinzens returns from boarding school in Marschlins, where he is being groomed for a future in Graubünden politics. On the same day, the architect Pietro Solari arrives. With bold plans to renovate the house, he brings a breath of fresh air to Samedan, wins Neisa’s trust and opens Vinzens’ eyes to a wider world. As a warm southerly wind sweeps through the valley, certainties begin to waver.
