Thusner Walking Path - Where travellers once strolled

The starting point of the "Where travellers once strolled" walking path is located at the Town Hall in Thusis. The walking path leads past the small castle to the old schoolhouse and over the stony path up to Villa Hestia. Via Cresta and Tagstein Castle, the walker reaches the Tubenstein viewpoint. The path then leads back through the castle forest to Thusis.

At the start, you will find the free brochure (MiniGuide), which provides exciting information about nine selected locations and/or objects. The required time is about 100 minutes.

Thusis is not only a stage on an international trade route, it has also always been a regional center. Besides the north-south axis, other connections have played an important role for the population in the past.
