The Tour de Suisse is pure sporting excitement, an absolute classic in cycling, and an inspiration for participants and spectators to enjoy leisure time in the unmistakable Swiss landscape. The starting signal for this year's queen stage will be given on Thursday, June 19, and will lead the peloton over the two impressive Graubünden Alpine passes, Julier and San Bernardino, to Santa Maria in Calanca. A day full of highlights Race day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a varied program at the starting area, which is open to the public. A lively atmosphere will be provided by commentary, music, and entertainment on the show truck.10.00 a.m.: Opening of the starting area10.55 a.m. – 11.55 a.m.: Riders Sign-In with stage moderation11.05 a.m.: Start of the advertising column12.05 p.m.: Official start of the stage in front of the school building on the Via Cumünela12.15 p.m.: Passing through Samedan12.25 p.m.: Passing through St. Moritz12.55 p.m. Julier Pass Traffic and safety information In order to guarantee a smooth procession, several traffic restrictions are to be expected:From Wednesday, June 18th, 5.00 p.m. to Thursday, June 19th, 5.00 p.m.:Closure of the Via Cumünela between the town hall and the school buildingClosure of all public parking spaces, except for the Volg parking lotThursday, June 19th, approx. 11.45 a.m. – 12.15 p.m.: Complete closure of the Traffic to and from La Punt Chamues-chThe route will be closed approximately 15 minutes before the drivers arrive and reopened after the sweeper. Restrictions to public transport (Engadin Bus) On Thursday, June 19, the following bus services will be cancelled (lines B606 and B608):Last bus from Bever: 10:59 a.m. / First bus from Bever: 1:29 p.m.Last bus from Madulain: 10:32 a.m. / First bus from Madulain: 1:34 p.m.
