Trail over the Trimmiser Alp to the Rhine Valley and Grüsch

*The Grüsch-Danusa mountain railway remains closed this summer 2022.*

From the mountain house Schwänzelegg, 80 meters downhill to the first junction, turn right here and you are already on the signposted biker route (325). It goes to Scära and down to Laubenzug. (Here you have the possibility to shorten the tour by about 1.5 hours by following the road downhill towards the north, thus reaching Valzeina and Grüsch.) However, the large tour continues southwards to Stams and down into the Rhine Valley. Here it is best to ride west of the villages Zizers and Igis to Marschlins Castle and through the Klus to Grüsch 

By starting the tour from the cable car mountain station, you save yourself 1000 meters of ascent and the boring part on the paved road.
