Beschreibung

From Vella, the trail leads over Triel to Hitzeggenkopf. It then continues along the ridge to Piz Mundaun. Upon reaching the summit, it is worthwhile to take a break and enjoy the panorama from the viewing platform. From Piz Mundaun - lovingly also called Bündner Rigi - you can enjoy the view as far as Chur, the Bernese Oberland, and the Austrian Alps. After this sensational view, the restaurant "Bündner Rigi" is another highlight of the trail.


Then you reach the valley of light (Val Lumnezia) again via Morissen. The endpoint of the trail is Vella, the unofficial main town of Val Lumnezia.

In uncertain weather conditions, the route should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are common. If a rain front or similar develops during the hike, you should turn back in time.
