Transruinaulta ab Ilanz

The Transruinaulta is a spectacular trail marathon that leads over 42 kilometers from Ilanz to Thusis and lets trail runners dive directly into the breathtaking Ruinaulta Gorge. On this challenging course along the Vorderrhein, participants can expect challenging climbs, breathtaking views and exciting single trails. The marathon ends with a gentle descent through the quiet forests of the Heinzenberg before reaching the finish in Thusis.

For shorter distances, the Transruinaulta Curta offers an equally impressive route over 24 kilometers from Ilanz to Rhäzüns. With its challenging climbs and beautiful panoramic views of the Rhine Gorge and the Domleschg, this route is also a real nature experience.

Both races offer trail running in a class of its own – untouched nature, challenging routes and a unique experience in one of the most beautiful regions of Switzerland.
