Treasure chest in the Domleschg - guided tour of the Dusch Chapel

Slightly elevated above the hamlet of Dusch is the chapel of St. Mary Magdalene. The guest is greeted on the ascent by a large Christophorus of the Waltensburg master. Inside, the same workshop has sculpted the life story of Mary Magdalene, which, thanks to the lighting conditions, comes into its own in a very special, medieval-looking way. In front of the chapel we enjoy the view of the Domleschg and the Heinzenberg.

Registration required by 5:00 p.m. the evening before.

Arrival by post bus to Paspels Dorf, then on foot about 20 minutes to Dusch. Parking next to the Olgiati schoolhouse in Paspels, walk approx. 10 minutes. Interested parties with limited mobility can park at the third bend of the road to Tomils and walk on the Alte Transerstrasse to the Dusch chapel at the same level. A nice hiking trail, about 20 minutes.
