Via Grischuna stage 6: Sils Maria - Pontresina

The sixth stage leads straight up through the forest from Sils Maria. A long traverse with a view down onto the blue Silvaplana Lake winds under the summit of Piz Corvatsch towards the mid-station of the Corvatsch cable car. Below the mid-station, the path climbs up to the Fuorcla Surlej. The view of Piz Bernina and the Bernina group is breathtaking. From Fuorcla Surlej, first follow the path towards the Coaz Hut, before it branches left into Val Roseg. From the idyllic Val Roseg, take a well-frequented path gently downhill to Pontresina.
