The second stage leads from the Cufercalhütte SAC (2385 m above sea level) through the high alpine terrain of the Beverin Nature Park. After a short but promising ascent, the long descent follows over the slopes of Versols and Grusobli in the direction of Sufers (1539 m above sea level). The entire stage offers spectacular views of Lake Sufner and the Rhine Forest and is the crowning glory of the multi-day tour. At the end, the journey continues by post bus to Splügen.

Beschreibung

The stage from the Cufercalhütte to Sufers takes you from the remote Cufercalhütte SAC (2385 m above sea level) through the heart of the Beverin Nature Park down into the Rhine Forest. The tour offers a long and spectacular descent that inspires experienced ski tourers.

After a short ascent near Piz Calandari, an enjoyable downhill section awaits you. The route follows wide, open slopes, past Versols and Grusobli, and finally immerses itself in the silence of the Graubünden mountains. You will be constantly accompanied by a magnificent panorama of Lake Sufner, which glitters deep in the valley.

The tour ends in the village of Sufers (1539 m above sea level), which offers a direct connection to public transport (post bus) - perfect for starting the journey home or ending the tour in Splügen.

It's worth starting early! The slopes towards Sufers are often beautiful and the views of Lake Sufner are fantastic.
