Wächterstein

On the way to the Old Bad Pfäfers, you will come across the "Wächterstein" in the Tamin Gorge. For earlier man, nature was naturally animated. If a conspicuous stone, which shines perceptibly, has stood on the path, it has been given a special meaning, e.g. "guardian stone", as guardian of the path. And who hasn't felt a subtle shudder in such places?
