Take the chairlift at the Waltensburg valley station to reach the starting point of the winter hike. Anyone already craving a hot drink or lunch can visit the Alp Dado mountain restaurant at the final stop. The winter hiking trail takes you via the Maiensäss Spinatsch to Waltensburg valley station. Along the way, you cross various wooded areas alternating with a breathtaking panorama over the whole Surselva.
Those wanting more exercise are welcome to take the route uphill.

Visit the Alp Dado mountain restaurant or the Curtginet restaurant at the valley station in Waltensburg.
Sicherheitshinweis
The route should be avoided in uncertain weather conditions. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a bad weather front or similar approaches during the hike, you should turn back in good time. We also advise against hiking in dense fog.
Please note that the route largely follows the toboggan run. Do not get flustered in such situations and keep well to the left or right of the path.
Ausrüstung
Provision with hot drink, high and sturdy hiking boots or winter boots, warm clothing, sun protection, hiking sticks recommended.

Train stop Ilanz. Continue by post bus to Waltensburg/Vuorz, Hotel Ucliva.

Main road (No. 19). Turnoff Waltensburg/Vuorz. Then follow the road to the valley station in Waltensburg.
