Fideris is located about 2 km off the main traffic route on a sunny terrace. The historic village center with its impressive patrician houses as well as the winter hiking trail invite you to romantic walks. The Ritterhof in the village center pampers guests with regional delicacies and a knightly ambiance. Fideris village is also the starting point of the small Fideriser Heuberge ski area, known for its idyllic mountain scenery and the 12 km long toboggan run. Local specialties, including the Fideriser cake, which is part of Switzerland's culinary heritage, can be found at the Gujan bakery. The winter hiking trail passes over the Grossfeld and can be walked in various lengths.
