Winter walk from Borgonovo to Vicosoprano

The winter hiking trail starts either at the church or the Borgonovo post bus stop. It leads uphill through the village and turns diagonally to the right at the end of the village. It continues eastwards to the forest of Vicosoprano. Soon the first houses come into view, the large EWZ building and the Vicosoprano Helvetia post bus stop. 

This trail is not an officially marked winter hiking trail and is not maintained. Depending on the weather, it may be slippery or icy.

If there is little snow, you can make a round trip with a return trip via Cresta.

At the end of Borgonovos, the path leads diagonally to the right, past the last houses. It crosses a meadow and heads east towards the Vicosoprano forest. In the forest, we cross the little stream that comes from Val Torta and soon reach the first houses, the large EWZ building and the Vicosoprano Helvetia post bus stop.
